Paige Jordan is an eclectic fashion designer with a love for culture and art. From the age of 3, Paige has been outspoken on her choice of clothing and passionate in her art work, as it served as an outlet of self expression. At 9, she was refashioning her doll's clothes and cutting their hair. At 12, Paige began taking sewing lessons. It was then that Paige decided that fashion design was her true passion. During Paige's first year of college, she launched her own clothing line, The Golden Rose. The Golden Rose was a young, quirky brand of funky vintage clothing and hand-painted garments by Paige herself. As Paige grew as a designer, so has The Golden Rose. Four years later, Paige relaunched The Golden Rose. This time, she is creating garments with a more luxury feel, yet manipulating fabrics to respect it's natural form, keeping the designs true to artistically vintage and bold origins. Following her experience at New York Fashion Week, and an internship in New York City with the clothing company, Alice and Trixie, Paige decided to refocus her brand on sustainability and re-purposing textiles in order to conserve natural resources within the fashion industry. Her designs are creative and eclectic, honoring the broad ranges and blurred lines between past and future elements of fashion, feminine and masculine qualities, and cultures around the world and nature. Paige graduated Alabama A&M University with honors in Spring, 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Apparel Merchandising and Design. She has won first place awards as Most Creative Designer, Best Overall Design, and Best Workmanship for the Apparel Merchandising and Design Fashion Extravaganza. The Golden Rose has been featured in several fashion shows, including Fashion Week Alabama. Paige continues to develop her brand into an powerful statement of art-filled boldness, and self expression.
